Jenny and Fredy's Reception

Dec.31, 2007-Jan.6, 2008
Levi now dances upon request and he’s still crazy about balloons and points out anything that remotely looks like a balloon and says his version of the Spanish word globo--“bobo”
We spent New Years at my mom’s house and my mom brought out a bunch of the little people toys that Matt and I used to play with when we were little and our kids loved them. They brought back a ton of memories for me. My favorite was the Fisher Price castle toy that had a trap door, secret passage way and a drawbridge. The boys liked that one too—mostly for the trapdoor.
We had Jenny and Fredy’s wedding reception at my aunt Julie’s house on Friday night and it was really a lot of fun to see most of the Bosen clan. We got to see Mikey, Tonya, Madilyn, Kimberly, Amber, Anna, Garrick, Emily, David, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Ben, Wes, Debbie, Todd, Julie. Mary, Kendall, Jackie, Amber and ofcourse all of the adorable little grandkids running around.
After the reception we had a spontaneous dance party over at my mom’s house upstairs. James and I had an especially good time because our boys zonked out early. We danced to mostly western and latin music. Fredy gave use all a workshop on salsa dancing.vSkiiing!!! Yes, we finally did it. James and I left the kiddos with my family and went skiing, just the two of us up at Sunrise—just 20 min. from my mom’s house. The snow has been great this year so we had nice conditions for skiing. Neither of us had been in forever. It felt wonderful and the views from the ski lifts were spectacular. Plus it wasn’t that crowded at all and we never had to wait more that a couple of minutes at the lifts.
